Gravity Bowls

The Gravity Bowl collection showcases a remarkable feat of metalwork, featuring white bronze vessels formed by hundreds of individual droplets meticulously built up by hand. These decorative bowls create a captivating visual effect, as if countless metal droplets have been frozen in mid-flight, defying gravity.

Crafted from white bronze, a distinctive copper-nickel alloy with a luminous silvery finish, each bowl exhibits exceptional weight and presence. Available in four sizes, these versatile bowls function beautifully as standalone sculptural objects or practical vessels for displaying objects. The organic texture created by the accumulated droplets catches and reflects light, creating a dynamic visual experience that changes with viewing angle. Each bowl is individually handcrafted through a meticulous process of droplet accumulation, ensuring that no two pieces are identical.

The careful arrangement of these metallic elements creates a harmonious form that appears both structured and spontaneous. Perfect for contemporary interiors, these bowls add sophisticated textural interest to dining tables, consoles, coffee tables, or shelving displays.

French designer and art director William Guillon, based in Bordeaux, explores the tension between decay and elegance, permanence and fragility, in collectible pieces that feel both ancient and radically contemporary.

His aesthetic is neo-romantic and tragic, drawn to imperfect beauty and the haunting grace of the unfinished. Each piece is conceived as a functional sculpture: a fragment of a larger mythology, marked by time, fiercely singular.

Since founding his studio in 2014, Guillon has built a body of work known for sculptural lighting and accessories, worked primarily in cast bronze, including rare alloys such as white bronze. Every piece is handmade, signed, and numbered, sculpted from scratch with no moulds, so no two are ever alike. Most are one-of-a-kind or limited edition, with bespoke commissions available.

His work is exhibited internationally in galleries and showrooms, and has been featured in Vogue, Interior Design, Dezeen, Elle Decoration, and Côté Ouest, among others.
