Igor Dobrowolski
ACT III
ACT III by Igor Dobrowolski is a bronze and concrete sculpture that returns to the origins of his practice in figuration. A vertical concrete core is encircled by cast bronze elements that extend and wrap around it, suggesting fragmented limbs rather than a complete body.
The polished bronze contrasts with the raw surface of the concrete, structuring the work through opposition. Dobrowolski develops his sculptures from the human figure, reducing and reconfiguring it into compositions where balance is achieved through tension and placement rather than symmetry.
